American Home Schools

Minnesota parents wishing to homeschool their children annually report the names and birth dates of their children. If the parent does not have a baccalaureate degree, quarterly report cards must be submitted to the school superintendent. There is annual testing, with the method of administration mutually acceptable to both the parent and superintendent. Minnesota families are not required to provide test scores to superintendents. Parents must make available (not specified when or under what circumstances) documentation that required subjects are being taught.
